Vera, What a lame video.
Dimock is sick and tired of you snooping on our lands and making up stories. Go back home and stay there. And stop volunteering to take outsiders on tours of our well sites. You have no permission to do so and we’d like to know exactly what it is about “NO TRESPASSING” that you don’t understand.
Maybe we should take people on tours of your property so you can see how it feels to look out your window and see a busload of people walking around your yard.
I saw a posting on facebook – - I have no issue with the private well owner or creator for the video- I did see a particle filter that was rather dirty – If the private well owner needs assistance – I would be happy to chat with them. To be honest, it looks like an iron and manganese related problem or a corrosion related problem. The piping shows signs of corrosion. This problem can be made worse by not using a well and sometimes a native bacteria can be a factor.
Well equipment and pipes rust. Period. You need to maintain wells, tanks, and pipes. There are few “perfect” wells. Every time a new vein opens up there’s plenty of dirt. Besides, responsible well owners have their water tested every year or 2. Think of the “proof” the Antis would have had if they had been looking after things before gas came along.
Fear mongerers.
Well owners have the responsibility to maintain their wells, tanks, pipes, etc. they also should be getting their water tested every couple of years. Obviously people haven’t done this or think of all the “proof” Antis would have had that frac’ing affects their water. Funny how suddenly they care.

I live in urban drilling Arlington TX and they only try to drill right whem it saves on their pocket book. Example 1) flowback into closed tanks…the open hatch (vent to the airshed) is old school…the technology to flowback into pressurized, ventless tanks exist, but few use these.
Example 2) they can now frack with field gas instead of diesel…funny it is only being looked at now that we have a gas glut and it is cheaper than diesel…also by creating a demand for more NG uses, they are trying to raise the price of NG on us. We have a government that has the opportunity to a leader in the responsible and safe development of the shale gas industry. There are people from NB touring the industry in Texas this week.

Vera you are one hell of a “journalist.” Why not look at the facts instead of fear mongering. You’re a disgrace to this community.
This video we have shared from Vera’s Face Book, a bit of info: It’s a coil tubing job. Companies don’t frac at night unless they are operating a 24 hour/day operation. Thats a rare occasion. But coil tubing drillouts/cleanouts can operate during the night so the next zone will be ready to frac when crews arrive at daylight.
