Great site! I was thrilled to find this! All you hear about Dimock is how gas drilling ruined this town. Any time I mention drilling, I hear, “what about what they did in Dimock?” I live in Harford and the wells are popping up all over around here. I’ll be sure to refer as many people to this site as possible. I would hate to have Harford’s claim to fame as someone’s scapegoat for anti-drilling too. I’d rather be known for the Harford Fair and home to our sole celebrity, Bronson Pinchot. Thanks for the site.
Great idea guys! It’s about time someone stands up to those that wish to cripple an entire industry just to further their political agenda and greed. The people that protest the recovery of natural gas are environmental wackos. They have seized upon an opportunity to advance their agenda while attempting to profit from it. These people are bottom feeders and not representative of native residents of Pennsylvania…let alone Susquehanna county. Many are outside agitators pouncing on an opportunity like a mountain lion on an unsuspecting fawn. These people, local and imported, are their own worst enemy. Give them enough rope and they will hang themselves with it. This website, along with local, public sentiment confirms this.
They had an opportunity to make some money and that time has passed. Like a spoiled brat, they will scream ever louder until they get their way. All the king’s horses, (DEP) and all the king’s men, (EPA) have declared that the water is clean again and again. If it’s so horrible to live on polluted, Carter Road, don’t let the door hit your hybrid in the rear bumper on your way back to New Jersey!
If water is contaminated…it probably dates back to Bendix.,.just my thoughts….anyone checked that out? People in South Montrose couldn’t drink their water for a long time, as I remember…
I did however expertise several technical issues using this site, as I experienced to reload the site lots of times previous to I could get it to load properly.
